SETsquared in Guildford

Surrey Technology Centre
The University of Surrey is an international university with a worldwide reputation. The university also has a strong reputation for electronic engineering and is particularly well-known for its pioneering work in space and miniature satellite technology. Its strengths are in disciplines such as civil/mechanical and chemical engineering and computer sciences/IT.
The Surrey SETsquared Centre is headed up by Sarah De'Lacey who is supported by Sophie Hill and Joan Moore.
The Centre is based in the Surrey Technology Centre, on the highly successful Surrey Research Park, just off the A3 on the outskirts of Guildford. Ventures based at the centre are biased towards sectors such as electronics, computing and telecoms.
The Surrey Centre was set up as a pilot for the SETsquared initiative and quickly became a success. It is well-equipped offering wireless broadband and a telephone answering service. The Surrey Technology Centre also houses excellent facilities all of which the Members have access to, including; a Reception service, air-conditioned meeting rooms and presentation facilities, video conferencing and an on site Café that can provide catering.
