Physical Features
The SETsquared centre is on the highly successful Surrey Research Park, in the Research Park's Technology Centre, sharing many of its facilities including a good canteen and video conferencing. Meeting rooms, reception facility, kitchen, broadband, wireless data and telecoms. Just off the A3 on the outskirts of Guildford. Good transport links A3, M25 and 30 minutes into Waterloo from Guildford train station.

Key Academic Research Themes
The University of Surrey ranks fifth in the UK's league of top research universities by dint of its strengths in disciplines such as applied maths, physics and chemical engineering. Culture
Guildford, a historic market town, lies as a gateway to the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With picturesque villages at its doorstep, it's hard to believe the area is also within easy reach of London (around 30 miles away).
Attractions in the area include historic buildings, such as the National Trust's Clandon Park and Hatchlands Park. Another attraction is Guildford Cathedral, with its imposing exterior yet beautiful interior; it is floodlit to spectacular effect at night.
Theatres, restaurants and a huge variety of social activities abound.
