Access to future financing rounds and exit planning via an IPO – a discussion meeting for start-up, early-stage and growth companies with the London Stock Exchange

Mark Russon, the London Stock Exchange's representative for the South West, will lead a discussion on how an IPO can be a future financing and exit strategy for start-up, early-stage and growth companies.

With a track record of SMEs, including university spin-out companies, raising funds from investors via an IPO, the meeting will cover a number of discussion areas including how such companies can achieve an exit for shareholders and access capital at the time of an IPO as well as post an IPO via second and subsequent funding rounds.

The meeting will also discuss details of how a company undertakes an IPO transaction, including what investors typically look for in an IPO company, timetabling, cost and Board structure considerations, as well as the different markets available for companies to IPO onto, including AIM, the London Stock Exchange’s market dedicated to smaller, growing companies.
