SETsquared Workshop: Financial modelling for high growth businesses

Purpose:
The workshop is aimed at managers and owners of growing businesses who are looking to build a robust financial plan that models the growth of their business and allows them to make, with confidence, the right commercial decisions.

  • Identify and model the core drivers of your business underpinning your growth
  • Build a financial model that is scalable as you grow using the FAST modelling methodology
  • Forecast cash burn rates so you can be prepared for further funding requirements

...and we'll share a simple model for you to take away and use!

Structure:

This interactive session will give you the tools you need to make bold business decisions!  We will take you through a FAST model and explain the methodology and how to update for your own business.

For the last five years, FD Works has been helping businesses make bold commercial decisions by putting you in control of your numbers to realise the true potential of your business.

Jonathan Gaunt, Founder and MD:  Jon is a proactive and commercially focused Chartered Management Accountant with over 20 years' corporate experience in organisation such as Lloyds TSB, Arval PHH and Transco (now National Grid) which enabled Jon to develop the range of skills required to set up and grow FD Works. 

Stuart Budd, Commercial Director:  Stuart is an experienced, commercially focused, Chartered Accountant and MBA Graduate with 19 years of Finance and Marketing experience primarily in Financial Services (Banking) and Telecommunication. A track record of driving P&L performance and improvements within a multi-stakeholder matrix combining strategic financial planning and reporting with focus on driving action at an operational level.
