SETsquared Xing Challenge
University of Exeter is hosting the first SETsquared Xing challenge on Wednesday 8th Feb.
6 teams made up of students from each of the 5 SETsquared Universities will be given a hypothetical business idea – based on a genuine business – and will spend the day using the Xing tool to develop the strategy and business plan to deliver successful business growth.
At the end of the day the teams will each present to a panel of judges drawn from the business community in a Dragon’s Den style environment. The panel will select the winning team.

Ann Dempster – MD of HWC LTd
Alain Desmier – Former University of Exeter Guild President and Head of Bus Dev at Enternships
Raman Mistry – COO of Alacrity Foundation
Julian Alexander – Regional Director of Santander
