“We’ve learnt more about business on this three-day programme, then we have in the last six months. It’s an incredible amount of learning in a short space of time. After every piece of theory, you apply what you learn. The stakes are high for us because it’s not a simulation, this is a real business that we want to launch and SETsquared’s Entrepreneurship Programme did not disappoint.” Siddharth Mahajam, Gateway VR
“The Entrepreneurship Programme has been really inspirational. The speakers have all been great and I’ve enjoyed hearing about the different technology ideas from all around the world. We’re preparing for our next investment round, so the programme has been really useful for fine-tuning our investment proposition.” Tom Dewhurst, Ordable
“SETsquared’s Entrepreneurship Programme is the best business programme I’ve been on and I’ve been on quite a few. The mixture of clearly explained theory, combined with hands on application, really brings the material to life. The programme forces you to ask the really hard questions about your business idea, to ensure it’s viable before committing lots of time and money. You can road test your ideas with the mentors and during the course of the week I have pivoted my business model and have a sharper understanding of how to position it.” Chris Thurling, Crocodile
“I would describe SETsquared’s Entrepreneurship Programme as lively and challenging. It’s been great to meet like-minded people with a shared ambition for entrepreneurship. The professional advisors have been excellent and we’ve learnt so much about the financial aspects of running a business.” Daniele Conti, AgriRobotics
“SETsquared’s Entrepreneurship Programme was a really good new experience for us. We were able to connect with some very useful people, whom we hope to collaborate with in the future. The real life case studies that were presented were particularly helpful.” Cristina Sabando, Iyayku
“If you’re thinking of starting or already running a tech business then SETsquared’s Entrepreneurship Programme is an absolute must. If you enjoy the course, then it’s a good indication that starting a business is the right thing for you. The course taught me about different sources of investment and funding and how to successfully approach each of them, the speakers were excellent and each element was engaging and easy to understand." Dr Daniel Murray, Managing Director, Industrial Phycology
"One of the most useful elements of the course was the insight it gave into an investor's mind - what they are looking for in a proposition and how they would value a business. It's a short course, so minimises time spent out of the office and the amount of information you get in that short time makes it invaluable. The range of speakers was impressive and of a high calibre. In terms of business, they've done it all before, so know what they're talking about." John Rees, Managing Director, Vital Engineering Consultancy Ltd
