Innovate UK and the SBRI have recently announced major health-related funding calls. Through our Scale-Up Programme, we can provide a comprehensive package of support to help businesses successfully bid for funding. Support can include matching you with an academic partner from our six university partners to collaboratively bid for funding, critical friend review of your bid and professional bid writing. Bids supported by the Scale-Up Programme have a 35% success rate,

On this briefing call, we will look at the following funding calls and outline the opportunities to work together:

  • Biomedical Catalyst 2022 round 2: industry-led R&D
    Innovate UK will invest up to £25m to support UK registered organisations to develop innovative health-focused products, technologies and processes for pre-market R&D projects. The project size can vary between £150k – £4m.
  • SBRI Healthcare Competition 22 – Delivering a Net Zero NHS: Clinical Innovation Competition
    Following the NHS outlining its strategy to become Net Zero by 2043, the funding landscape has grown. This competition seeks innovative solutions that focus on decarbonising clinical pathways. Solutions are sought to change the whole care continuum including early disease detection, accurate diagnosis and treatments to not only cut emissions but also improve patient care.
