Hands on and interactive, this fully-funded programme, is designed for growing companies seeking to develop their products, services and innovations.
We’ve reshaped this event to suit the online environment and to ease your schedule and it will now be delivered in two digestible modules across two days (9 & 10 June). The session on 9th will be in the morning and 10th will be in the afternoon.
Delivered with our partners Strategyzer, creators of the Business Model Canvas, this programme is designed to help participants explore where their current business model can be developed and refined to create new opportunities to accelerate growth.
During the course participants will review their current business environment, customers’ needs and assess opportunities to develop strategies with academic support as part of our Scale-Up programme. The outcome will be a developed business model with a greater potential for investment and growth.
As well as the two half day workshops, there is a requirement to attend two webinars. The first one introduces the Business Model Canvas and the second introduces the concept of testing assumptions.
This programme is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
It’s very much a team sport and is most suited to teams of 2 – 3 from the same company. The more multi-functional the better! So we would encourage participants who work within different functions within the business eg engineering, business, design, front line/customer service, sector export to join up and take part. There is no requirement to be in the same room – the workshop will be organised so you can all collaborate virtually. There is also no requirement to purchase any new software, we’ll take care of the tech and logistics.
We are also inviting early career researchers or post doctoral researchers to attend the workshop alongside the companies to open up potential collaborative opportunities. If you are an academic researcher, you can find out more about the Innovation Workshop here
