– Introduction to features, benefits & values

w/c 6 Sept 2021

Online Bootcamp over 4-day period

Please hold this week in all team members’ diaries when you apply. The ECR will be required to attend sessions across all four days, the Senior Researcher (SR), Technology Transfer Officer (TTO) and Business Adviser MUST join sessions from the second day onwards (15 – 17 Sept).

Please note, the ECR and SR roles can only be undertaken by one person per role (i.e. you cannot have one staff member covering both roles).

Mon 13 to Thurs 16 Sept 2021

Immediately after the Bootcamp, the ECR will spend 12 – 16 weeks contacting and holding online and where possible face to face meetings with target companies and organisations to test the business model. The ECR must be employed full-time on the programme for the duration until the last date of the Options Roundabout. The ECR is required to attend regular teleconferences and provide progress reports.

Mid-Point Review

This will either be a face to face or online one day review day for the ECRs.  It is hoped a face to face day will be possible, but it will depend upon current government guidelines and individual University policies.

Tues 2 Nov 2021

Options Roundabout Training Day – The ECR (plus optional one other team member) must attend either online or at a venue (to be confirmed) which supports the preparation of the final presentation to the panel.

w/c 6 Dec 2021

Online Options Roundabout Panel – The Team will deliver their ‘ICURe Journey’ final presentation at the Options Roundabout (each team will be allocated a slot on one of 2 days). The Options Roundabout panel will provide feedback to the team on commercialisation options they feel are most appropriate for the project/team at that stage.

Tues 14 and Wed 15 Dec 2021
