Emily Rosenorn-Lanng is the founder and CEO of Cyber Innovations Group Ltd, a Bournemouth University spin-out building human-layer cybersecurity resilience products for regulated organisations. Her work sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, psychology, and education, and is underpinned by her ongoing PhD research at Bournemouth University, where she is developing validated frameworks for how organisations train and evidence human response to cyber threats.

Emily founded Cyber Innovations on the conviction that effective cybersecurity is as much a human challenge as a technical one. The company’s flagship product, the Cyber Self-Defence Toolkit, is a SaaS platform that helps organisations build and evidence tested incident response capability – going beyond awareness to give them what regulators and insurers increasingly require: proof that their people know what to do when something goes wrong.

Supported by Innovate UK and a specialist advisory board spanning cybersecurity, academia, and commercial strategy, Cyber Innovations is working with organisations including Dorset Mind, a mental health charity, as well as partners across financial services and local government, to close the gap between compliance and genuine resilience.
