Let’s take inspiration from our Roman innovators who helped shape the modern world and let’s help shape the future…

SETsquared and the University of Bath are hosting an informal networking event in the beautiful Roman Baths in the heart of the city.

This invite-only event will bring together innovative businesses from across the region and academic researchers from across the University of Bath.

You’ll mix and mingle with tech company founders who are innovating in alternative sustainable materials and creating new products in support of the Net Zero carbon agenda. Scientists and engineers from the University of Bath will highlight how knowledge exchange and working together with industry for a more sustainable future is fundamental for change to happen.

During dinner, there will be:

  • An introduction from Professor Matthew Davidson, Director of the Centre for Sustainable and Circular Technologies (CSCT), University of Bath and Programme Director of the West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-up Programme. 
  • A quick update from a couple of companies who are receiving business support through the West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-up Programme.

The West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up Programme is hosting this event. The programme is funded through the European Regional Development Fund and provides a package of support to businesses in the West of England in any sectors that are developing low carbon technologies or looking to make their products or services more sustainable.
