Funding in Healthcare Innovation Workshop

Funding in Healthcare Innovation Workshop

Is your business in the health sector?

Are you looking for funding to support your growth and R&D?

If so, this event offers the ideal opportunity to explore the different funding options and meet potential academic collaboration partners from the University of Surrey.

The event will be hosted at the Surrey Heartlands Health Tech Accelerator, an innovation and accelerator partnership which brings together clinicians, academics and tech companies to solve health and social care challenges.

The University of Surrey has a wealth of health-related academic expertise including digital health and data science, infection and immunity, sleep, nutrition and food security and the Surrey Cancer Research Facility – to name check just a few. So there is ample opportunity to form partnerships and collaborations and find the expertise needed to boost your research & development.

You will also get the opportunity to find out more about the support on offer from our Scale-Up Programme, which includes dedicated support to bid for major health-related funding calls, including NIHR Invention for Innovation funds, SBRI challenges including Technology in Surgery and Delivering a net zero NHS and Biomedical Catalyst challenges. Our track record shows that bids supported through the Scale-Up Programme have a 35% success rate.

All of this is complimented by expertise from Granted who will give their insights into the funding landscape and tops hints and tips on how to maximise your chances of grant funding success.
