FWD Project – Effective Intellectual Property Management Masterclass

Join us for an introduction to Intellectual Property and discover how it can be used to benefit your business!

The FWD Project is providing various streams of business support to help Health & Well-Being companies in the South West grow and develop. We’ve created a series of masterclasses delivered by our expert mentors, to cover a range of essential business topics to improve the resilience of your business, find the best funding sources, protect your intellectual property and develop and strengthen your leadership. There is no cost to your business to attend these masterclass sessions.

As a result of this in-person masterclass, participants will understand how to create and build their own Intellectual Property strategy.

As a result of this session, you will:

  • Understand the relevance of Intellectual Property in support of your business, commercial and development strategy
  • Be able to consider a range of different types of intellectual property, including timescales and costs, to assess relevance to your business
  • Understand the basics of patents, including what is required to obtain a patent, the structure of the patent document and how claims are drafted
