Innovation in AI and Software Webinar

Innovation in AI and Software – what can be protected?

The AI revolution has completely changed the way that businesses operate, enabling them to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and gain that ever-desired competitive edge. As this technology changes and evolves, so too does the ability to use it in previously unachievable ways, and, as a result, bringing never-before-seen challenges to the fore.

So, how can businesses access the opportunities in software adoption whilst keeping their IP intact?

In this session, we’ll look at those challenges and opportunities that arise when trying to protect your AI and software innovations in the UK and Europe.

The session will:

  • Discuss what AI actually is and how it might relate to your business
  • Summarise the various kinds of IP – patents, trademarks, designs, copyright, confidential information – and how they apply to software and AI
  • Provide guidance on the value of IP as a commercial asset for your business
  • Warn you of common pitfalls to avoid
  • Discuss how to implement an IP strategy
