Following the highly successful Entrepreneurship Programme in February at Basing View, the first new SETsquared members are set to join the Basing View Hub.

Entrepreneur Mahesh Hariharan and ventures RazorSecure and Spry Fox Networks, all based locally to Basingstoke, impressed a panel of judges and investors with the quality of their business pitches, with RazorSecure being the overall pitch winner.

They will all now become SETsquared members and benefit from a range of business support including being matched with mentors and experts, regular business review panels, high-quality investor pitching opportunities and access to software from big brand names and heavily discounted prices.

Nineteen participants from fifteen companies took part in the three-day course, which covered modules such as market analysis, the anatomy of a business plan and funding strategies for start-ups.

One participant commented:

“The part of the programme I enjoyed the most is the ability to interact one to one with the mentors/experts, to ask questions and get direct feedback. One my colleagues actually said that he was a bit jealous when I was talking to him about the programme. He wished that he had been able to do something like this when he was starting out.”
