Entrepreneurs and health sector professionals in the South, who are looking to start and grow successful health innovation businesses, are being offered the opportunity by SETsquared, the leading business incubator, and WESSEX AHSN to meet and learn from successful entrepreneurs and investors first-hand.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from experts from SETsquared’s network who have collectively helped over 1,000 companies raise more than £1b in investment over the last ten years, figures that have contributed to it being named by the UBI as the top university business incubator in Europe and number two in the world.

Simon Bond, Innovation Director at SETsquared, said: “This event is an excellent chance for local healthcare innovators to bring along their ideas and really set them to work in group discussions and business plan workshops. We’re very excited to bring this kind of training to the Wessex region and offer up the right knowledge through our experience with the AHSN.”

The WESSEX AHSN Connection Event is running at the Holiday Inn in Winchester on 17 March and the agenda includes living case studies, workshops and a panel discussion on “Challenges and Opportunities of Health Innovation”.
