Sue Sundstrom

Sue is a highly experienced mentor, coach and practitioner trainer. With a wealth of experience within the education and commercial sectors, Sue has most recently built her own consultancy, specialising in working with early-stage companies and projects, technology transfer and university research commercialisation teams.

After studying physics at the University of Oxford, Sue went on to study for a Masters at the London Business School, followed by roles within large commercial companies, including AstraZeneca and Syngenta. Her career then moved towards the education sector, becoming Director of the Lifescience Enterprise at the Univeristy of Southampton, before moving to become the Head of Commercialisation and Impact Development at the University of Bristol where she worked for over 9 years, finishing there as Director of Enterprise.

Kevin Brooks

Kevin is an international consulting bid specialist and tender writer, based in the UK. With over 30 years’ experience of working with UK and globally-based organisations, he has worked across all client types, including SME’s, universities, NHS and Local Governments. In previous roles with the UK Government, Kevin has bid for £Ms of Treasury funding and the marker of multimillion £ grants.

Providing Bid Writing Support Service for the Dorset and Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnerships, Kevin is able to help many types of business that fall under the umbrella of the UK Innovation Strategy.

In recent years, Kevin has also established his own consultancy, allowing him to impart his knowledge and expertise to give the client the best opportunity to secure the required funding.

 

 

 

Peter is committed to supporting healthcare innovators bring products and services to market that the NHS needs, with a 30-year career in 5 front-line technological roles within the NHS and pharmaceutical industries.

In his current role as a Senior Programme Manager, Industry & Innovation with Wessex AHSN, Peter is well placed to understand the place an innovation could have in the health system, and to draw together the support needed to bring innovation to fruition. With a professional specialism in pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality management, Peter’s broad experience in secondary care means he can support technology across the clinical disciplines.
