SECTION A: TECHNOLOGY
We'd like information on your sources of research funding and the area of innovation. The amount of funding has no bearing on your application and can be zero. We just need to track the flow of research funding that leads to innovation and commercialisation.
Origin of the funding for the Research*
Who have been the funding bodies that have funded your research and through which programmes did you receive the funding, and how much funding was received from each? (Max 60 words)
Describe the research/technology that you think has the potential to be commercialised.*
Explain what makes it unique. Please use a non-technical description as this will be used as a summary of your project within the programme for a range of audiences. (Min 10, Max 250 words)
Stage-of-development*
Is it an idea or do you have a proof of concept (evidence to show that it is feasible) or have you made a prototype (a first version) or some other development? (Min 10, Max 150 words)

The questions below are aimed to serve as a starting point for the programme. Applicants may not know exactly how the technology will be used in a business. We would simply like to understand their initial thoughts about the technology’s market potential.

What problems or gaps in the market do you think it can solve? You may not know exactly how the technology will be used in a business but you may have some initial thoughts about the technology's market potential (Min 10, Max 200 Words).
What advantage does it offer over other technologies / products?*

Early Career Researcher/Entrepreneurial Lead*

Someone to work with the team on networking, planning and value proposition. Max 150 Words.
