The University of Surrey’s Business Enterprise Programme is proud to launch its new film “Connecting Capabilities – Innovate and Grow with the University of Surrey”.

The film features four of its high-tech, high-growth companies and summarises how they have benefitted from collaborating with Surrey researchers as part of the SETsquared Scale-Up and the SPRINT (Space Research and Innovation Network for Technology) Connecting Capability Fund (CCF) programmes.

The Business Enterprise Programmes team enables companies to access the University’s academic expertise, its cutting-edge research facilities, and its top-class students. Together, they can explore the various opportunities for collaboration such as student projects, studentships, consultancy, KTPs and collaborative research. In addition, the team can help businesses apply for joint funding to facilitate innovation and growth.

On Wednesday 3 November, the University of Surrey will be hosting an online event: Innovate UK Funding Opportunities and How to Succeed. The event will provide an introduction to the Innovate UK funding landscape, including Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), and give an overview of the support on offer from the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), Innovate UK Edge, SETsquared Scale-Up programme, and the Business Enterprise Programmes team.

The Business Enterprise Programmes 2022 SME Innovation Voucher scheme is now open for applications from established SMEs who are interested in developing a new relationship with the University of Surrey and scoping a short, innovative project with the potential for developing a larger collaboration. SMEs should be able to demonstrate innovation and growth and be looking for support to take their business to the next level.
