The FWD Project offered a range of support for health and wellbeing start-ups and SMEs in the West of England. From two-day Business Strategy Workouts, designed to help founders strengthen their business models for growth, to dedicated expertise in securing private investment and R&D funding, the FWD Project covered all their business needs.

While the FWD Project has come to an end, support for health and wellbeing businesses continues. Whether you’re looking to develop your R&D roadmap, explore new markets, or be directed to specific, tailored guidance, there is still plenty of support available for everyone in our ecosystem.
Support continues through the online Health Innovation Network – a digital platform designed for networking with fellow health and wellbeing start-ups, staying up to date with industry and funding news, and accessing new opportunities across the sector.
The network also hosts an extensive knowledge bank of resources tailored to businesses in the health and wellbeing sector. From tips on avoiding burnout in leadership to advice on grant funding applications and more, it’s all available within the Health Innovation Network.
