Industrial Phycology develops sustainable, chemical free water recycling and nutrient recovery solutions. They use microalgae at industrial scales to treat wastewater from agricultural, industrial and municipal sources.
Top 3 achievements:
• Won ‘UK company with most commercial potential’ – Pitch@Palace, ‘most disruptive technology’ – Global TAG Forum and ‘innovation in technology’ – Industrial Biotechnology Leader Forum.
• Raised over £3m in funding including from Industry, the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Innovate UK and 2 x H2020 SME instrument awards.
• Recently expanded the company and relocated to a new 5,200sq ft industrial facility.
