Ben Dolman is the founder of Holiferm, a biosurfactant company built on technology that solves a decades-old challenge of making sustainable alternatives to petrochemicals commercially viable.

A SETsquared ICURe Explore and Exploit alumnus, Ben used the programme’s funding and structured customer engagement to validate and reshape Holiferm’s commercial model – ultimately pivoting from licensing to full-scale manufacturing.

Having recently transitioned to a non-executive role, Ben is now focused on collaborating with innovators across the sustainable engineering space, sharing the lessons learned from scaling a deep-tech business, and exploring where to direct his energy next.
