Bushcraft and Wild Cooking, nr Midford, Bath

Escape the rat-race of the city and unwind in the tranquil countryside with an afternoon of activities, guided by an expert bushcraft instructor and wilderness chef. You’ll learn about the preparation, cooking and enjoyment of eating a delicious wild meal.

This is a great opportunity to be at one with nature and connect with like-minded people. You’ll also be joined by some of the team from SETsquared and the University of Bath for this fun outdoor networking event.

Agenda:

• Bushcraft fire lighting demonstration
• Foraging around the forest
• Pizza making and cooking using the homemade outdoor pizza oven
• A selection of meat and vegetarian dishes cooked on the outdoor open fire BBQ
• Networking and introductions
• Discover some of the innovative sustainable organisations that are part of the West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up programme

This event is free to attend and open to anyone who is part of the West of England Sustainable Technologies Scale-Up Programme or those interested in connecting with the programme team and this business cohort.

Please bring suitable clothing and footwear as you will be exploring the forest and around open fires. This event is outside with some covered shelter if it rains. If adverse weather conditions are expected we will seek to rearrange this event.

Food and some drinks will be provided – please bring additional drinks if required.
