Expert masterclass: Social Value and Designing a High-Impact Response

This masterclass aims to help participants understand the key elements of a high-quality social value response in a funding or tender environment. It will provide tools and training to create social impact delivery plans with clear measurables and reporting.

The Becoming Tender Ready session will be provided in the following format:

  • Peer Learning
  • Short bursts of lecture content
  • Exercises and examples to build up learning
  • Acquiring knowledge through experimental learning

It will cover the following content:

  1. Explanation of the key elements of Social Sustainability
  2. How this is communicated in public sector purchasing (Social Value)
  3. Ensuring you respond to in-tender social value appropriately (how to structure a response)
  4. Ensuring your social impact is measurable (applying metrics)

Who should attend:

This workshop is for any organisation that is doing business with the public sector and is being asked to submit Social Value commitments within tendering or grants.  It may also be useful for anyone wanting to design measurable social impact plans, but please recognise this will be presented in the context of a tender situation.

 

Takeaways from the session will include:

  1. Understanding that Social Value (Sustainability) has constituent elements and transferrable themes.
  2. Understanding our own unique capacity to create an impact
  3. Understanding how to identify, measure and report this
