About the event

GRADINVEST@20 offers an unrivalled opportunity to gain support to take your business to the next level

Building on the last four years, the showcase is an opportunity to bring together the best graduate start-ups from across our six SETsquared partner Universities, and collectively celebrate some of the most amazing entrepreneurial talents of our graduates.

The event is designed to link graduate entrepreneurs to support resources and help them develop connections with potential investors, mentors, and the larger business community.

This showcase is a culmination of a one-month programme to hone each graduate company’s pitch and provide significant promotion within the investor and wider start-up ecosystem, nationally and internationally, as well as in the corporate and media community.

Overall, the programme is a great opportunity to hone pitching skills, gain feedback from real investors, SETsquared programme managers, experienced entrepreneurs and mentors and to promote your business to a wider network.

The event will offer graduate businesses a chance to pitch their ideas in front of an audience of over 100 early stage investors, mentors, accelerators/incubators, policy makers and significant strategic partners.

Who should apply?

GRADINVEST@20 is designed for graduates of a SETsquared University – Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton & Surrey – who have graduated or plan to graduate in Summer 2023. We accept applicants up to 3 years post graduation.

You should be able to demonstrate rigorous market validation, a strong and viable business model and the potential for continued growth and development and the social and environmental impact of their business.
