Step by step guide to submit your application

Applicants are eligible if they are members of one of our SETsquared Business Acceleration Centres in Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey, a spin-out from a SETsquared partner university, a founder of student-led innovation start-up from a SETsquared partner university or a member of one of our SETsquared programmes. 1. If you would like to find out further information about the selection process and be considered, please join the SETsquared Innovation Platform.
2. Once you have requested to join the platform, please submit your application. Applications are assessed against the Applicant Criteria and validated by the SETsquared central team and local centres. A maximum of 75 companies will be admitted to the selection process.
3. Once we validate applications, you will be invited to attend an online pitching session. A maximum of 75 companies will pitch online. At the online selection session, you will give a 5-minute pitch to a panel of external investors. A 10-minute Q&A + feedback from the panellists will follow each pitch. Up to 30 companies will be selected to pitch at the Investment Futures 24.
4. The 30 selected companies will be supported to pre-record your five-minute investment pitch, which will be uploaded to our Investment Platform and viewed in advance by interested investors.
5. Selected companies will be given further support to hone their pitch ready for the showcase via their local incubators and the will attend an online pitch refinement session delivered by a trainer.
