Synairgen has developed a Biobank of clinical samples obtained from well-characterised healthy control, asthma or COPD volunteers. The Biobank samples support our tissue engineering capabilities and provide biopsies for our ex vivo studies and immunocytochemical analysis of drug targets. Using cell-based models, Synairgen can analyse the complex interactions within lung tissue and use this knowledge and expertise to discover novel targets and treatment interventions.
