Green hydrogen is set to revolutionise how we live, work, and power our world. But to unlock its full potential, including its use as ammonia for storage, transport, and fuel, we need new ideas, technologies, and fresh approaches.

That’s where you come in.

If you’re working on a clean hydrogen idea, whether it’s a product, service, strategy, or start-up, this hands-on programme will help you develop it into a viable business opportunity. Whether you’re a researcher, innovator, or entrepreneur, we’ll give you the tools, support, and connections to thrive in the growing hydrogen economy.

Programme overview:
3 powerful modules

Partnership-led strategy

Successful ventures are rarely built in isolation. This module introduces the fundamental concept that for an early-stage founder, building partnerships is as critical as building a product.

Innovation partner networks

A powerful network is not built by accident; it is built by design. This lesson provides a practical framework for strategically mapping and growing the ecosystem your venture needs to succeed.

Creating a compelling partner network

Moving from a promising contact to an active collaborator requires a clear, professional, and persuasive proposal. This module provides a practical, step-by-step guide to designing partnership offers that get noticed and create real value.

Programme Testimonials

“The Hydrogen Launchpad has been a truly unique experience. I’ve been through many cohorts and training programmes, but this one stands out because of its highly interactive nature and the perfect blend of practical knowledge and real-world experience. The instructor actively involves others in the learning process, which means we benefit not only from his expertise but also from the insights and experiences of the entire group. There isn’t a single moment where you feel bored, which is rare for such a niche and technical topic.

“The programme helps you refine your idea using practical experience, shared knowledge, constructive feedback and self-paced online lessons. It’s a real knowledge-sharing environment that focuses more on practical success than theoretical information, and that has been incredibly valuable.”

Ahmad Usman – Founder, Blue Trajectory

“The GW-SHIFT Hydrogen Launchpad course was insightful and engaging; the course leaders have a wealth of knowledge to share from multidisciplinary backgrounds. They gave straightforward answers to often complex questions and were happy to provide contact with experts in various fields.

At the end of the course, you have the opportunity to pitch your company’s offering to a panel of experts. This provided valuable feedback, as well as business development and grant opportunities.”

Jim Whitmore – CEO, HotCell
