The University’s 100 Club held its largest investment event to date on 18th May.

The 100 Club, a club supported and run by the SETsquared Network is an investor community that provides financial support and advice to University spin-out companies and local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Club recently met for a networking event that featured Dragons’ Den style pitches from three SMEs:

• Alloy Solutions, which provides customer loyalty solutions
• Basemap, which provides digital geomapping software
• Lookred, which provides cloud-based learning support solutions

The event finished with a networking dinner at the University’s Lakeside Restaurant.

The Club, now in its second year, has provided nearly £500,000 of investment to local SMEs.
