This programme provided incubator support for start-ups innovating in core, wireless and non-terrestrial networks, as well as in AI, compound semiconductors, blockchain, quantum technologies, photonics, cyber security, and cloud solutions.
Whether companies aimed to sell their technology solutions into the telecoms market or incorporate telecoms assets into their products, this programme helped accelerate their growth and success.
The programme encouraged a fresh perspective, even among those who had never considered telecoms as a potential market for their technology.
Programme impact
The first cohort delivered 1,085 hours of support to 223 people, many of them early-stage deep-tech founders, from 197 companies. These participants came from key telecoms-facing sectors, including: Optical communications and photonics, compound semiconductors, space and security.
